I’ve been a big fan of @marginpar Amazing® Sevillia for a while now — it’s not only beautiful it’s really robust , so perfect for wedding work. So it was an obvious choice for a mono design for my Bouquet Masterclass series — I love working with the varieties from Marginpar not only because they’re beautiful and reliable, but because of how they are grown. Marginpar follow the Japanese Kaisen method, focusing on respect, collaboration and ongoing improvement — making a real difference in the communities they’re based in. 95% of their flowers are sustainably produced, and they’re aiming for 100%. A little footnote:
There’s often a lot of discussion around imported flowers and sustainability — and it’s important to ask questions. It’s also important to look at the full story. When you choose your suppliers carefully and buy from ethical growers you’re not only supporting sustainable practices — you’re supporting communities in countries where floriculture is a vital part of people’s livelihoods. Many of these regions depend on our industry, and the impact of our choices can be hugely positive when we choose well. It’s worth taking the time to understand the facts — and the difference it really makes.
