Join us for a transformative 2-day wedding intensive designed for both new and experienced florists. Over the course of two inspiring days, we’ll be creating large-scale designs, tablescapes, and bridal bouquets. Beyond the flowers, we’ll explore the key aspects of running a successful floristry business—covering essential topics like pricing, systems, and ensuring sustainability in your workflow. 

This is the perfect time of year for working with beautiful seasonal flowers and the knowledge you’ll gain will support your confidence and creativity. Plus, we’ll document everything with professional imagery, so you can build your portfolio and showcase your work to future clients.

3 days in Ireland teaching the very first workshop at beautiful Bellinter House for the Institute of Flowers, Ireland’s first and only professional organisation for florists. It was an absolute honour to be invited and to give a presentation on the future of floristry at their launch.. I am in awe of Fionualla and Sinead and the army of supporters and helpers for the enormous effort they put in to making the event a resounding success. The flowers were everything I asked for, beautiful varieties from Van Der Plas and Marginpar including the new Clematis Amazing Kansas - it was so lovely to be some of the first to work with this beautiful variety. While I came away with many new friends, I also left with some valuable lessons. One of the most powerful takeaways was the strength of community and collaboration. Throughout the workshop and the launch, conversations happened between growers, suppliers, florists, and educators, all with the common goal of supporting and elevating our unique industry. There was no judgment—only a shared commitment to progress. Understanding the specific needs of floristry is critical to delivering the right training and education to future proof and protect our industry, so stepping away from the flowers - my presentation at the launch was on the importance of AI and technology something I believe our industry needs to embrace. Earlier this year Fionualla and I talked about the importance of valuing the skills of floristry and that Ireland didn’t have a dedicated trade organisation for florists. With the support of Skillnet Ireland, suppliers and supporters, Ireland now has a dedicated organisation focused on skills and professionalism. I believe you get back what you put in, and my time in Ireland was a testament to that. I took so much away from the experience and cant wait to return to the beautiful Emerald Isle!
