ITS HERE!
A few months ago I set out to write a mini guide and it turned into a full on workbook! Every time I thought I’d finished it I remembered another golden nugget that needed to be included! The result is a work book filled with knowledge, tips, contacts, products and all the things that people don’t always want to tell you!

This is the guide I wish I’d had when I started. It brings together all the practical knowledge and experience I’ve gathered over a lifetime in flowers . I hope it will help you plan and deliver events with confidence and professionalism.

Heres a glimpse of what’s inside :

How to create accurate flower orders

Working successfully with planners and other professionals

Conducting site visits and managing timelines

Working in Marquees

Planning for large-scale logistics and working at height

Organisation

Time saving tips

CAD plans and interior details

Health and safety essentials

Logistics and transportation

Products and tools

Sustainable mechanics

Processing and conditioning

Timelines

Working with team

and MORE!

ALSO INCLUDED:

My trusted supplier & wholesaler list—with links - worth the cost of the workbook on its own.
The Professional Event Florist workbook is packed with industry knowledge - No fluff — just the stuff most people don’t talk about, but really should.
Priced at just £97

I’ve been a big fan of @marginpar Amazing® Sevillia for a while now — it’s not only beautiful it’s really robust , so perfect for wedding work.
So it was an obvious choice for a mono design for my Bouquet Masterclass series —
I love working with the varieties from Marginpar not only because they’re beautiful and reliable, but because of how they are grown. Marginpar follow the Japanese Kaisen method, focusing on respect, collaboration and ongoing improvement — making a real difference in the communities they’re based in.
95% of their flowers are sustainably produced, and they’re aiming for 100%.

A little footnote:
There’s often a lot of discussion around imported flowers and sustainability — and it’s important to ask questions. It’s also important to look at the full story. When you choose your suppliers carefully and buy from ethical growers you’re not only supporting sustainable practices — you’re supporting communities in countries where floriculture is a vital part of people’s livelihoods.
Many of these regions depend on our industry, and the impact of our choices can be hugely positive when we choose well. It’s worth taking the time to understand the facts — and the difference it really makes.

Today marks 5 years of @blossomandprosper — and what a journey it’s been!
From our very first tutorial to a thriving library of videos, resources, and inspiration — this space has literary ‘blossomed’

To every single one of you who has joined, learned, created, and blossomed with me along the way — thank you.
You’ve helped make this so much more than a platform. It’s a place of passion, professional growth, and creativity.

Here’s to the next chapter — with more designs, more learning, and more inspiration !

July’s tutorial is re imagining the pedestal…. 🙂

A bespoke day with RH

Last week I had the pleasure of spending the day with RH, a florist who joined me for a 1:2:1 session here at the barn.

We began, as all good days do, with a cuppa and a chat. We talked through her floristry journey so far and where she hopes to take her business next. From there, we looked over her website and branding—identifying what was working, what could be managed solo, and what might benefit from a little fresh perspective. I pulled together a simple visual concept for a new logo to explore how she sees her business identity evolving.

The heart of our day was strategy—pinpointing the areas that really matter and building a plan around them. After a quick lunch (and more ideas shared over food), we worked through some of the morning’s photos, and RH created a beautiful flat lay that perfectly reflected her brand.

We then spent the afternoon on the practical side: designing a summer cascade bouquet filled with movement, texture, and colour. Throughout, we captured video and imagery she can now use as part of her refreshed online presence.

Every 1:2:1 is entirely shaped around the florist who comes—some lean into design, some are all about the business, and many, like RH, are a mix of both.

It was such a rewarding day, and I know RH is heading into a new chapter with confidence, clarity, and creativity.

If you feel ready for a day that’s all about you and your floral business, I’d love to hear from you.
