The Business of Flowers

Professional floristry is about so much more than being creative with flowers. This workshop shines a light on the myriad other plates you’ll need to be spinning in order to run a successful business. There is A LOT of information packed into this course, with a range of exercises, and a worksheet to complete in order to help you move your business forward.

Using her in-depth industry knowledge and thirty years’ of experience, Sabine will guide you through the following topics:

Creating great proposals | How to up sell your services | Building successful client relationships | Pricing and profitability | Attracting higher end budgets | Managing lower budgets | Working with venues and planners | Logistics and time management.

Whether you’re an established business or just starting out, there is a wealth of information from which you’ll benefit here. This workshop has a limited number of spaces and books up very quickly, so make sure you reserve your place soon! You’ll also receive a 2 part E book after our day together to help keep you on track as you move forward.

What’s Included?

    • Workbooks and resources to work through during the day.
    • Light refreshments.
    • 1:1 time and Q&A sessions with Sabine.
    • Access to a private Facebook group for continued mentoring and advice from Sabine after the workshop is over.

“Thank you for a wonderful time last week, you are a true inspiration and after 8 years working in the industry I can’t believe how much I learnt, some ideas life changing!” Michelle Boon-Harris | Swaffham Florist

You know that feeling when you open your inbox…
…and there’s another message asking for a quote, or a client changing their order, or a tricky question about pricing?
You want to sound professional — but also warm, kind, and on-brand.
So you rewrite. And rephrase. And second-guess.
And suddenly, another hour has gone by.
That’s why I created the 20 Essential Email Templates for Wedding Florists.
I’ve experienced pretty much every scenario when communicating with my clients so I’ve put that knowledge into each of these templates .Every one is written with care and with a strategy to help you handle every stage of the client journey kindly and professionally — from enquiry to wedding day — plus those awkward scenarios that never seem to get easier.
You’ll find:
Enquiry replies
Proposal and pricing emails
Diplomatic responses to tricky questions
Requests for testimonials
Late payments
Upsell emails
Sole supplier
Hire items and policy notes
Post-wedding thank-yous
…and more!
They’ll be available on my website very soon - just download and tweek to suit your business and brand .

Autumn Reset
How was your summer?
Mine has been a busy one, which is why I’ve been a little quieter here of late… but for good reason!

Alongside creating flowers for some beautiful weddings, I’ve been working behind the scenes on new ways to support florists and their businesses:

I finished and launched The Professional Event Florist workbook – A behind-the-scenes manual for running successful events — It’s packed with practical advice, strategies, and insider knowledge along with my personal, trusted supplier lists —

And I’m putting the finishing touches to Design + Propose – a collection of floral visuals designed to elevate your proposals and help you win clients.

Now, as the season turns, it feels like the perfect time to reset, refocus,

My November 1:1 Power hours are now open – dedicated time to focus on your business, questions, and goals.

Here’s to a fresh, inspired autumn ahead!
