MARQUEE WORKSHOP – 2nd JULY
Lyne Down Organics Herefordshire

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work inside a Marquee — a setting that brings so many creative possibilities and its own challenges.
Whether you’re new to marquee work or want to elevate your skills, this hands-on workshop will give you the tools, knowledge, and confidence to take on an event in a marquee.

Here’s what we’ll cover:
Design + Planning:
* Working with CAD plans and layout visuals
* Planning installations that suit the space and structure
* Understanding heath and safety and weight limits for suspended designs
* Clear guidelines and mechanics

On the Day:
* We’ll be creating two large-scale floral installations
* Styling and dressing the interior of the marquee
* Time for imagery – ideal if you haven’t yet worked in a marquee and want to showcase your range.

This is a great opportunity to build confidence, upskill, and walk away with new content for your website and socials.
Cost: £600
There’s already been a lot of interest in this workshop – places are limited, so if you’d like to join us, be ready to book as soon as places are released.

A bespoke day with RH

Last week I had the pleasure of spending the day with RH, a florist who joined me for a 1:2:1 session here at the barn.

We began, as all good days do, with a cuppa and a chat. We talked through her floristry journey so far and where she hopes to take her business next. From there, we looked over her website and branding—identifying what was working, what could be managed solo, and what might benefit from a little fresh perspective. I pulled together a simple visual concept for a new logo to explore how she sees her business identity evolving.

The heart of our day was strategy—pinpointing the areas that really matter and building a plan around them. After a quick lunch (and more ideas shared over food), we worked through some of the morning’s photos, and RH created a beautiful flat lay that perfectly reflected her brand.

We then spent the afternoon on the practical side: designing a summer cascade bouquet filled with movement, texture, and colour. Throughout, we captured video and imagery she can now use as part of her refreshed online presence.

Every 1:2:1 is entirely shaped around the florist who comes—some lean into design, some are all about the business, and many, like RH, are a mix of both.

It was such a rewarding day, and I know RH is heading into a new chapter with confidence, clarity, and creativity.

If you feel ready for a day that’s all about you and your floral business, I’d love to hear from you.

Stop and smell the… FLOWERS
This month on @blossomandprosper we’re focusing on scented flowers creating a little tussie-mussie —
These little posies are like scent bombs and perfect for gifts and styling.
We’ve also popped a guide to the best scented summer flowers in the Guides section so you can find out which varieties to choose for to add perfume to your designs.

What’s your favourite scented flower to use?
We’d love to know!

What would it feel like to press pause and focus fully on your floristry business for a day?
Amanda did just that — and this is a glimpse of what we created together.

These days are tailored completely to you – whether you need clarity, confidence, creativity, or a bit of all three, I’d love to hear where you’re at and how I can help, just DM me for a chat.

I’ve had so many messages asking about the floral visuals I create in Procreate… so I’ve been working on something special behind the scenes.

I’m putting together a set of beautiful, high-quality flower illustrations that florists can download and use directly in their client proposals. These designs feature realistic, true-to-life flower varieties you’d actually use in your weddings and events – no mock flowers here!
Meadows, arches, gateways, urns and table decor!

They’re perfect for popping straight into Canva or your own proposal templates. So if you want your visuals to have that professional edge but don’t have time to design from scratch, these are perfect for you!

✨ Easy to use
✨ Beautifully styled
✨ Created by a florist, for florists

Keep an eye out – they’re coming soon! 💻🌿
